Dollars for Dogs began its mission in 1985 and has been the major source of funding for the Anchorage Police Department’s K-9 Unit (APD) since. DFD raises money not only to purchase and train the dogs but to buy all the equipment needed for the officer and the K-9 partner.
A wonderful organization that rescues farm animals and provides them with a sanctuary to stay for the rest of their lives
